Happy days at ST/ART HQ as the limited edition ST/ART vs RBK Classic hits the shops. Daubed with the now trademark HKAMMO design, the kicks featured loads of subtle detailing including clear soles, stencil lace-bridge, black on black embroidery and a variety of special material finishes. Sweet.

Our very own Start From Zero will have his first solo exhibition at Lab Yellow in Kowloon Bay from Sept 18-30 with an opening party on Sept 22. The exhibition entitled Boxmian Journey is a look at the works and philosophy of SFZ as it has developed since his beginnings in 2001 to the present day.

07.06.07/ ST/ART – THIRD GROUP EXHIBITION

The whole ST/ART collective is currently preparing for its third group exhibition. Entitled 10/10 Hong Kong Vision Past:Future, the exhibition coincides with the 10th anniversary of the handover and aims to examine Hong Kong today through a personal look back 10 years, and a look 10 years forward.

02.06.07/ ST/ART LOVES MONGKOK

The collective has just been invited by the Youth Arts Foundation as special guest artists in their public art project I LOVE MK being held at Langham Place. The project will comprise some 3,000 purpose made boxes all decorated by local artists, students, youth groups and the general public – designed to represent the colourful and multi-faceted Mongkok area.

02.05.07/ ANOTHER GOOD REASON

The Feel Good Project, a concept driven by J.A.R, is a 100% non-profit global project with the sole purpose of raising money for those in need and to inspire every individual. They aim to deliver “visual refreshment” through live art, animation, video and live music. The 3rd Feel Good Session will take place in Taiwan in August 2007 and is now inviting contributors.

The IDEO is a new photographic project from ST/ART collective artist KS1 along with fellow photographers Jacob and Rover. The first issue of their on-line magazine is available now and takes an abstract and innovative look at the theme Abandon.

Now in its third year, the K•SPRAY stencil art tour goes from strength to strength and this year visits Hong Kong, Taipei, Seoul, Singapore, Shanghai and Tokyo. Featuring iconic artists London Police (UK), Flying Fortress (Germany) and PEZ (Spain) the tour stops in Hong Kong on April 4th.

26.02.07/ GAL IN HANGZHOU, CHINA

Earlier this month the prolific and ever-busy mighty Graphic Airlines took part in a collaborative exhibition over in Hangzhou's long established Jasonwoods new shop opening. There was a fashion show, DJ and a custom jeans exhibition and live painting by more than 10 young artists from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hangzhou.
